To mark 150 years of La Scuola Cattolica, the author – once vice director and then director – retraces his own theological path and ministry through three images: the believer-priest diptych, the theologian-teacher diptych, the bishop-pastor diptych. A recollection which brings the author to conclude in the words of E. Schillebeeckx «I am a theologian, or rather, a happy man».
