Il caso serio del transgenderismo

Abstract

The unique character of the human condition becomes apparent in the per-son’s capacity to live the common nature in a singular manner, called to mature in a process of biological, psychological and moral humanization. The singular nature of human existence reveals itself in the vocation of the individual both to own their sexed male/female nature, and to become man/woman. Differently from other living beings whose sexual practice is guided by biological/instinctive processes, in the human being sexuality is at the same time biologically given, psychologically elaborated and morally cho-sen. The dramatic character of human sexuation transpires in the transgen-der condition, experienced in the dystonia between sex and gender identity, which the article researches with a transdisciplinary method, availing itself of scientific, psychological and philosophical research.
