L’“altrove” della Rivelazione: una provocazione alla teologia da parte del filosofo Jean-Luc Marion

Abstract

This article presents the last work of the philosopher Jean-Luc Marion (D’ailleurs, la révélation), which has Revelation as its theme. This paper acts as a “reading guide”, highlighting the theoretical journey and its key points. The Revelation can be understood starting off from three categories (the wit-ness, the resistance and the paradox) and can be qualified as a phenomenon which comes from “beyond” and manifests itself “besides”. Accessing the text from a theological perspective (an entrance opened by love/gift), the reader is presented with some questions for christology and trinitarian the-ology, as also for “everyday” phenomenons such as truth, being and time.
