Lo studio teologico come “atto spirituale”

Abstract

The contribution looks into the role of the study of theology in seminary formation. Starting with a quick historical overview, the paper unmasks theology’s contraposition with spirituality and pastoral activity, showing – through a holistic conception of theology and more recently of formation, as a transformative activity – the intrinsic relationship with the other dimensions of the course of education (human, spiritual and pastoral) and their common exquisitely christian end: the conformation to Christ.
