Abstract

The article examines three basic issues concerning eschatology and christian anthropology, that is the experience of happiness, the desire and the soul. With regard to these, on the one hand are recovered, to interact with them, the basic elements of both the reflection of St. Augustine and St. Thomas both the Bible; on the other hand are discussed critically the answers from neurosciences. The paper aims in this way not only offer a reflection closed but also to identify a number of issues that deserve to be addressed by the theological debate.
