Abstract

Among the many definitions given to the person and ministry of Martini stands for unanimous agreement on all “man of dialogue”. In this context, the Cardinal places himself in the precise wake of the Council. The re-reading of his teaching enables to give more content to the indication of Vatican II by defining the method for a real dialogue with the world, clarifying the interlocutor and outlining the primary dimensions of this relationship.
