Il magistero di Carlo Maria Martini sull’Islam

Abstract

On the eve of the feast of St Ambrose 1990 Carlo Maria Martini has dedicated his usual discourse of social content to the topic of Islam and to the theme of acceptance of Muslims in the ambrosian context. This speech is still one of the highest and most current thinking on the subject. The article aims to analyze the contents of this speech highlighting the links with the wider teaching of Martini and its relevance in the reflection on the relationship between the Christian faith and Islam.
