In Cristo, figli e fratelli tutti
Per ripensare la predestinazione
Abstract
Predestination: a much misjudged category, because of its evoking an al-ready established destiny and a mysterious discrimination between different people. This study takes up the question once more, beginning from the Neo-scholastic model and seeking a new way of reasoning within the thought of St Paul. What emerges is a proposal which invites us to rethink the theological value of the thesis, starting off from its Christological-Trinitarian foundation and arriving at its anthropological consequences, recuperating the Gospel message according to which God-Father wants all persons as children and brothers/sisters in Christ by means of the Holy Spirit.
