La nozione di «disturbo di personalità» alla prova della complessità del movimento

Abstract

In Psychopathology the notion of «personality disorder» is founded on that of the personality. Having shown the limitations of an understanding of per-sonality starting from that which remains unchanged and having also shared some complex-systemic settings, the author seeks a way in which to better articulate, in a life’s becoming, the fact that though each individual remains always itself, it is nevertheless not condemned to remaining always the same. In this contribution the author shows how in order to grasp this exquisitely human way of becoming it is necessary to problematize the notion of Movement from its very Aristotelian roots. It is here that one sees a complexity in the movement – a complexity which complex dynamic systems do not know – which allows a new understanding of the notion of «personality» and «per-sonality disorder».
