Abstract

The article is the second part of a diptych. After taking up the first part with the support of some reflections from an ecclesial point of view, the idea of recovering the maternal language of the Bible is put into dialogue with youth ministry. Thus, the study identifies some fundamental provisions for pastoral action with young people: the identification of an unsurpassable device; attention to the ways of accessing the biblical text and the actions of pastoral workers; the care of a family context. In this perspective, the maternal language of the Bible will emerge as a plausible option for youth ministry.
