Uguaglianza battesimale e differenze carismatiche
La prospettiva paolina fondamentale (I)
Abstract
The contemporary problem inherent in the recognition of the equality of human beings and that of their differences is the starting point of this contribution (one of two), which examines the articulation of these two dimensions in Paul, showing that his eschatological perspective in understanding relationships – the second contribution will explore that between women and men – is decisive in overcoming the violence found therein. In Gal 3,26-28, Paul shows that the “baptismal equality” of believers is founded in their being one “in Christ”. In 1Cor 7. 12 the charismatic value of the individual differences is perceived as the place of the calling which each person receives and can make available for the building up of the community.
