Ordine «tradizionale» dei sacramenti dell’iniziazione cristiana?
Abstract
In the debates on the sacraments of Christian initiation we find often the reference to their «traditional» order that provides the sequence Baptism - Confirmation - Eucharist. Different studies about this matter, however, generally leave open at least two radical questions: what do we mean when we qualify as «traditional» a practice, what are the criteria for assign to a practice that title? Based on these criteria, it is possible, and under what terms, consider «traditional» the sequence B-C-E? About those questions, the article provides some points of reflection that can guide in articulating the relationship between theology and pastoral practice in reference to this specific subject.
