L’amore divino per il mondo come chiave interpretativa delle visioni di Fatima
Abstract
Through the prophetic sign of Fatima, the Holy Spirit has given a strong impulse to the spiritual renewal of Portugal, which in the first quarter of the twentieth century was stagnating in atheism and anticlericalism. In fact, however, the Paraclete made his breath felt beyond the confines of the Portuguese Church, working his salvific attraction upon the Church universal and the world, above all after the repeated acknowledgement by the Popes of the authenticity of the Fatima visions. The sign that is Fatima gives proof of its
prophetic impulse worldwide not only because the messages of the Spirit mediated by the Blessed Virgin expressed God’s love for «all» of the world, but especially because of its own power the revelational dynamic of the visions of 1917 has given rise to a particular motherly attentiveness and tenderness towards that most delicate «fragment» of the world constituted by the three child-prophets.
