Abstract

Having already conducted in a previous contribution the relationship of abuse to a relationship of so called object-Self transmutation, in this article we will try a reconstruct, with the aid of some clinical cases, the often tortu-ous and winding path of symbols that render the object (another) an object-Self. The symbols, in this case, are characteristics which, in a non necessarily conventional manner, make reference to an experience which is absolutized and which illusorily «fixes» a failing or defect, non necessarily consciously. For this reason the requisition of the symbol equates to the requisition of that experience, with the illusion of being able to render it permanent.
