Il discernimento: l’idea di rivelazione e la missione ecclesiale
Abstract
A fresh look at the idea of revelation and of the traditional soteriological prospects both converge in and around the central importance of Jesus’ filial obedience to the Father. If, in keeping with the apostolic memorial, this centrality finds its reference point in the work of the Spirit, Jesus’ “existing-for” should be re-read as wholly entwined with the practice of a discernment of his own filial truth within the living framework of the times and places of his “humanity”. Such a customary exercise, by means of the Spirit which he “merited”, earns the place of norm and principle of Christian discernment.
