Rileggere la strage del Vajont 50 anni dopo

Abstract

In many professional contexts there is a need for a ethic that guides the action and the identity of the professional. The answer to this increasing demand has to deal with the consideration of the actual events and technical works. In an attempt to trace an index of a professional ethics that corresponds to this context, this article starts by considering the italian story of Vajont, which has just celebrated its fiftieth anniversary. The comparison with the story of this drama indicates the tracks which need to be considered from an ethical refiection about the identity and work of the professional.
