Battesimo e identità della fede
L.-M. Chauvet versus K. Barth
Abstract
Starting from the intuition that baptism is symptomatic place to understand the identity of faith, the article will examine how two very different visions of baptism (that of K. Barth and of L.-M. Chauvet) will explain their differences with the different understanding of the relationship God-man that they presuppose. Precisely Chauvet, rereading the issue of the effectiveness of the sacraments, enters explicitly in critical dialogue with Barth’s vision of baptism. After a presentation of this vision, the author analyzes the criticism that Chauvet moves to it, and the alternative proposal he advanced.
