Per la nostra salvezza. Che merito ne ha Gesù?
Una lettura soteriologica della libertà del Nazareno
Abstract
Exploring the logic of the relationship between the will of God and liberty of Jesus, this study concentrates on its merit with the intention of determining the pertinence and viability of the category. Presupposing that the revelation of God and the salvation of humankind are a unique, inseparable fact in the Christological event, it follows that both one and the other are the work of God, who by grace wills it, and of man, who freely realizes it. Thus the idea of merit may adequately express the singular value of Jesus’ human action in the order of salvation.
