Abstract

The character of a person is related to his faith? The aim of this article is to show that a question of this type needs a theological perspective. The Code of Canon Law emphasizes the importance of the fact that those who become priests have a “sufficient maturity.” The thing seems to be right, but, in fact, poses some questions: what is maturity? How can we evaluate it? One must have a “good character” to be ordained priest?
