Abstract

The article is a response to Paolo Merlo’s critique of A. Fumagalli’s book, L’amore possibile. Persone omosessuali e morale cristiana. After carefully examining the reasons adopted by Merlo to demonstrate the fragility and insufficiency of the arguments put forward in the book in favor of the ethical legitimacy – within certain limits – of homosexual love, their inconsistency is brought to light and thus the inadequacy of the examination made by the author in his critique of the book.
