Abstract

The dimension of the ferial and day-to-day existence has acquired a grow-ing relevance in recent spiritual literature. This article intends to investigate the contents and places of life according to the Spirit which the underlining of this dimension brings with it and helps to reevaluate and discover anew. Among these, the importance of the sensory experience in the spiritual life, the dimensions of time and corporality, the couples’ life experience and that of the family, as well as a greater attention to the same gospel lexicon. Nei-ther forgetting the pit-falls hidden within the “triviality” of the ordinary, nor losing at the same time the opportunity of returning to a savoring of that which is far from obvious.
