Abstract

The current sexual culture, putting in question the difference and the male and female sexual identity, challenge anthropological reflection to give reason of their consistence. As a contribution to the elaboration of anthropology sexual explaining the real difference between men and women, the article takes strategically start from their relationship, by which only it is possible to catch their specific identity. The reflection on the encounter between man and woman outlines, first, the interpersonal dimension of sexual anthropology, for which a man and a woman can be recognized how such to the extent that they are mutually disposed to the interaction. Interpersonal reciprocity is revealed in male and female bodies, which are the different symbolic modes of being in the world of the human spirit. This bodily dimension inscribes interpersonal reciprocity between man and woman in space and time of society’s history, assigning to sexual anthropology, respectively, a cultural dimension and a temporal dimension. The  interpersonal, bodily, cultural and temporal reciprocity of man and woman proves their divine origin, which corresponds to the transcendent dimension of anthropology sexual.
