Dio, più semplice di quanto si creda

Come la complessità del mistero trovi espressione nella semplicità divina

Abstract

This article shows how simplicity, in theology, is an attributable property, in its fullness, only in God. It does not correspond to that which is under-stood in the common language and paradoxically it opposes simplification, respecting the complexity of the Divine mystery. This paper proceeds above all by demonstrating the meaning of simplicity, both according to its Clas-sical definition and according to the metaphysical proposal of Aquinas. The second part shows how some theological questions can see a redefinition and a possible response, taking as a starting point the concept of complex-ity; among which, how the concept of Person can be understood as essence and relation.
