Abstract

The conciliar decree Presbyterorum ordinis considered the spiritual life of the priest starting from the reports and functions that compose the framework of his pastoral ministry. This intuition of the council is restored in its actuality and is considered in the light of the difficulties that today test the plausibility and the liveability of the priestly ministry. The article chooses to indicate a horizon of practicability in the exercise of the ministry: this horizon is not lonely, but communional at various levels.
