Il Triduo pasquale ambrosiano: prospettive sintetiche
Abstract
This article proposes a new reading of the entire Ambrosian Easter Triduum, following some lines that point out the characterizing dimensions of the various celebrations as a whole. The theme of light that overcomes the darkness finds certainly in the repeated «rites of light» its ritual development, but also crosses the scriptural and euchological texts; the eschatological tension inherent,
above all, in the Easter Vigil, it is also seized in the celebrations that come before it, since the beginning of the Authentic Week. The comparison with the patristic literature finally offers three perspectives to interpret the Easter’s theology celebrated by ritus et preces in the liturgy of Milan’s Church.
